Slum Rehabilitation (JV) Project / Ramabai Ambedkar Rehabilitation Project/ Unauthorized constrictions. This cell works on planning and permitting of unauthorized construction and appeals of project victims on the authority’s land in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority Area.

Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar Slum Rehabilitation Project :-

As per the Government resolution, the Slum Rehabilitation Authority and MMRDA have Joint Venture a slum rehabilitation scheme on land plot no.194 (pt.) and 195(pt.) Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar and Kamraj Nagar, Ghatkopar (E) covering an area of 3,31,495.44 Sq.mtr. (33.15 hectors) and planned to rehabilitate about 17,000 slum dwellers. The agreements of the said slum dwellers are being made through the MMRDA.

2. Removal of unauthorised constructions:-

Special Planning Authority under Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has authorized as the Chief Controller unauthorised construction to take action against unauthorised constructions in the proposed area as per MRTP Act and Special Planning Authority area of Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Mumbai City & MSD, 60 village in Bhiwandi taluka, 10 village in Kalyan Growth Centre, ODC, WTT, BKC NTDA, MIAL, P.N.A.

3. Senior Level Grievance Redressal Committee (SLGRC)

The grievance is redressed by organizing an appeal hearing of the ambitious project affected persons by the authority’s land before a Senior Level Grievance Redressal Committee.

4. Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s Slum Rehabilitation Project (JV):-

The Six JV Schemes in M/East Ward of Brihanmumbai Municipal corporation have been transferred to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. The work of determining the Eligibility / Ineligibility of the slum dwellers included in these six slum rehabilitation schemes will be done at the M/East division level.
